Welcome To SOFTVision Concepts, USA (Since 1996)

SOFTVision Concepts, USA continues to provides front-end software design and back-end solutions for Internet/Web-based, Intranet or Extranet application systems. Our approach is based on visual information architecture that coordinates application features with usability factors. Headquartered in Houston, TX since our birth as a team in 1986, with clients across the United States, we worked with the then message based internet building mail-tossers between FIDONet, GTPowerNet and RBBS Net. These were all Bulliten Board related Nets that were connected internationally by "modems" ( you had to call in ). We finally domained in 1996. SOFTVision grew up with a lot of the items that make the web popular. Lattice C, Borland C/C++, Perl/CGI, (flat database contained applications (lol)) PHP, mySQL, Flash, Javascript, Java to name a few and enjoyed being listed on sites like Netscape and Liveupdate. If you travel to the USA Today Website and look under site of the day, two of our productions are listed and were writen up in the Tech section. We work with Fortune 500's as well as the little man. SOFTVision has donated webspace and production for several or more sites.

   Nestles/Alcon Labs
Alcon Powerpoint to Flash Conversion - created for distribution on CD and DVD.

Our conversions are more accurate than any tool to convert you can find on the market today.
You can view the Conversion from Powerpoint to Flash by clicking Here. The CD/DVD menu is being used at this link to open the conversion. The windows exe or the Mac versions are not available from our site. Thus click on the "For Web Version" to play. The initial silence is intentional as client wanted to show what Alcon would be like without it's most valuable asset. It's employee.
( This is NOT the finished product that was submitted - it is the final approved version before we cleaned it up. We do not own the final version, upon complete all rights were transfered. )

   Content Management System
Just a few of our creations working with opensource php/mySQL starting with Bradley Morefield, Attorney At Law

Houston based attorney Bradley Morfield wanted a site that any one in his firm could easily update. We took [ Drupal Version 5.1 ] and modified the code. We also added a custom graphical interface. You can see the mockup version here as well as navigate to his live website at http://www.morefieldlaw.com.
Earls Cycle Repair and Leather Works needed a web presence that aided the not so handy with pages and graphics to be able to rapidly deploy their products for viewing. We chose a content mamngement system that was intended for real estste and created their website using modified code and custom user interface. All updating is done via web browser, including images needed for their presentation. The software automatically thumbnails the images. The site is powered by Powered by Open-Realty | A product of Transparent Technologies and open source project. You can see Earls website here . Each product page cab become a custom shoping cart. The cart is available for those who want to sell their product online using Paypal.
John H. Anderson Photography a blooming photograph artist and also a Doctor now in training to become a dermotologist wanted an easy way to showcase his eyes creations. After we installed several content management systems that were suited for his needs he chose to be Powered by PHPWebSite, an opensrc. content mamangement system. We customized the interface and setup a Paypal store. I'm happy to report he has already sold some of his prints. John can update and add or remove content with no outside intervention. You can see Johns website here .
